Electricity is the phenomenon associated with either stationary or moving electric charges. The source of the electric charge could be an elementary particle, an electron which has a negative charge , a proton which has a positive charge , an ion, or any larger body that has an imbalance of positive and negative charge.


Electricity and Magnetism dominate much of the world around us — from the most fundamental processes in nature to cutting edge electronic devices. In this course, we focus on magnetic fields and forces on charged particles in magnetic fields. We examine different ways of calculating the magnetic field, as well as introducing the ideas of current, resistance and simple direct current DC circuits.
